sometimes there is an o ring on the air mixture screw, check it's , look out for a groove if there isnt any o ring but bear in mind that some dont have the o ring...i suppose a groove would be a giveaway

yes but dont forgat its a very small hole so there wont be much volume of air passing through it

Yeah thats the air jet, air goes into there and is regulated by the taper of the air mixture adjustment screw...normally set at around 1 1/2 turns out from gently seated (mixture adjustment)

have to agree, that's why I did this to mine rather than chop off the whole lot...a likeness to some YZ Yamaha intakes another favourit so called tuning mod often seen suggested is to remove the intake snorkel...it sounds horrid when you do, so here again I did something different and fitted a set of boyesen reeds I don't believe that any of these mods did any harm, however I never dyno'd it so cant be surre of any improvement or not -
I'm afraid there isnt a drain plug so it would be cylinder off and dip something in the void to check! a fair bit of work if i'm wrong though! can you smell fuel in the transmission oil?

Nahh I'm talking of the crankcase not the transmission...dont confuse the two

sounds choked up and lots of smoke...I wonder if the crankcase has lots of oil in it ?

yep it's a non starter...least it will be after you've started it!

you'd have to be pretty skillful to successfuly make your own loom...even more so when you dont have one to copy

none slice, I bet it's gonna be a hard one to find this! pablo what about all the little sub-looms and connectors there will be a few of those too like to the speedo/tacho, tail light, headlight etc etc?

you need a little free play at the lever, about 10mm of pull before it starts to tension the cable
