  1. good people to deal with I find, will get you any parts for your yamaha
  2. as said 40 - 50 is ok for a 50cc, an exhaust will cost a lot, I assume you are 16 so not long to wait then get a 125
  3. No Merv, my brother in law Geoff and Up Yours (Kev) texted me with the vary same suspicions

    How nice??

    The ultimate tuning accessory.
  5. I wouldnt recommend a pod syle filter if thats what you are considering. More trouble than they're worth getting it set up right.

    Spanners

Mine came today, well pleased...like the tool roll they are in.
  7. they are fairly cheap I wouldnt worry too much about the cost
  8. Welcome Steve, i'm surprised you (being a smoker fan) didnt get 'junior' a DT125 or DT125x. Those ones are supposed to smoke I would check the oil level and then be wanting to witness this smoke for myself. I suppose you bought it privately as seen? 'blackhat250' will be along shortly all excited about the smell of a kwacker stroker
  9. God knows where you took it, never go there again for anything is my advice. I dont agree you would have to pay for any damage they caused through fitting incorrect parts either.
  10. If it is a 100 jet, I cant think why! That is seriously way too small when standard is 130. I would fit the 140, thats what is in mine. Your carb should have a ID of 2H500 stamped on it by the way.
  11. Jets are easy come by, I use motocarb they will post it to you. What size is it now?
  12. I dont think youre typing is all that bad Vez
  13. yeah I can understand a custom built pukka hardtail chopper, what I cant understand is changing what is a bike built with suspension to hardtail. My first bike was a hardtail, a 50cc french built mobylette, couldnt believe my luck when i found a frame with a swing arm for it
  14. why would you want to go out of your way downgrade your bike?
  15. is the subject not covered in the owners manual, its a newish bike so hopefully you have one?
  16. The bang was possibly the plug hitting something as it left the plug hole. If it runs nice and quiet now with the old plug things cannot be so bad eh? I suggest you keep the plug they fitted and if it's the wrong one you should take it up with the shop. The very least they can do is refund you in my opinion. If they wont just mention the words 'trading standards' to them as you leave.
  17. how could you pay the UK dealer? will they got to the trouble to send to Africa? I will give you a link to a UK dealer, you can email them and ask for yourself, they got me a lanza part even though they were not imported to UK
  18. What dates Drewps, what travel arrangements? I might go yet if I can
  19. Doesnt sound right does it Dean. What happens if you start the engine in neutral, put the sidestand down, pull in the clutch and then put it into gear? does it stall? i'm wondering if the clutch switch isnt operating welcome to the forum BTW...Paul
  20. Happy new year Barky ans all
  21. You need to fit some of the autolube pipe back onto the carb oil feed spigot, bend it over a few times and crimp it so it is blocked, or block the pipe with a screw. youre right to be worried Edit, if it were me I would also be running a bigger jet. an early bike 135 maybe 140 better safe than sorry
