  13. chances are the engine is flooded, take the plug out and leave it out overnight, any excess fuel will evaporate off. Then try again with a new sparkplug...that's what I'd suggest

  17. It is a slow day in a little GreekVillage. The rain is beating down and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit. On this particular day a rich German tourist is driving through the village, stops at the local hotel and lays a €100 note on the desk, telling the hotel owner he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one to spend the night. The owner gives him some keys and, as soon as the visitor has walked upstairs, the hotelier grabs the €100 note and runs into the kitchen. He quickly grabs the pressure cooker for he knows this will preserve the €100 note from the elements when he buries it in the garden because he can't trust the banks to be open when he retires next year,.. he'll be 55 then and done his whack, meanwhile he hides behind the counter until the German tourist fecks off the end (at least the Greek thinks it is)

    Am I just unlucky?

dunno john but are you sure there isn't too much oil in there?
  19. I'd leave it alone theres nothing in there, chances are all you'll do is end up with an ugly weld . Just remove the restrictor tube in the neck of the exhaust
  20. where the heck did you get this number from ? post up a picture, I doubt this is a Yamaha exhaust
  21. if there's a tube in the neck of the exhaust remove it, other than that leave it alone, whats this about wire wool? by 2002 yamaha had modified the way the PV pulley could be positioned on the PV, it could be fitted so the PV was unable to open fully but I assume yours isnt like that after 13 years have past
