front fork rebuild
I dont think it is available without the tube, it's a complete unit, maybe thats why you had so much trouble parting it? %20234HD-300E2/FRONT%20FORK/"]My link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-YZF750-93-96-INNER-TUBE-COMP-FORK-STANCHEON-/360348704081?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item53e674dd51

Final bits and bobs!
Hmm is this because you like pudding and lots of it Liam so that picture you posted, is it having to be stripped now? what went wrong? Could be the cable, only way to prove it is to remove it, you can get them cable oiling gadgets that clamp around the ferrule and have a hole for an aerosol straw. Could also be a routing or fraying issue.

Yamaha DT 125 Starrting problem
Depends which model it is whether you need a battery, the early ones DTMX's dont need a battery, not sure about the 12v later DTLC and DTR models White smoke is possibly shot crank seal on the clutch side of the engine

DT175MX
I think you are referring to the locating dowel part # 91810-16016 I wouldnt use the bike myself unless both are fitted, is there ANY possibility it has dropped into the crank case? thats a worry too Thats why rags should be shoved in there when removing and re fitting the barrel, until there is just enough room to get them out.
