  3. Ahh I thought you had problems with the wiseco, so you fitted a yamaha piston and you still have problems with power output? why would gearing down solve the problem? surely the bike will just be slower
  4. standard yamaha? I thought you had fitted wiseco with a different cutaway for the intake
  5. i dont think you're ever going to get those off the way it was intended! and I would bet the exhaust cover screws will also round off and not budge. I doubt you disturbed anything though...its most likely the penetrating oil and that will burn away soon

  15. yeah i can see why its so confusing...still looks like carb to me though. when you stripped the carb can you say without question the jets were clear, ie you saw daylight looking through the bores?
  16. this forum is reserved for help about 'forum related problems' only, besides you already have a post on this topic and its never a good thing to have two or more as it results in confusion
  17. not mine john it makes you think though with all the small petrol stations that have been closed down in recent years it's on the cards at some point
  18. I have use both but I think the PJ1 is more resistant to petrol spills, not that we spill petrol or owt but may be a factor...they both look good to me this is plastikote, I like the satin finish and has been said it's good for exhausts too
  19. ??? not much feedback there ollie! and it would be good to see you post it in the thread concerning the key so that it may help someone in the future
