1975 Yamaha RS100 turn signal issues!
you could try using 6v 21w lamps, see if that works...the flash may be a little faster but you wont know unless you try it EDIT you could even put 21w lamps in the fronts only and leave the 17w lamps in the back, this would give approx the right load for the correct flash rate

1975 Yamaha RS100 turn signal issues!
well it needs the extra load of the dash light...small as it is! thats why the relay says "relay says 6.4v 17wx2+3w " Note...+3w

DT 250 Clutch Adjustment
yes assuming its the same as the 175mX, there is a pointer at the end of the actating arm and a pip on the engine case, gently push the arm towards the front of the engine until it stop's. Adjust the clutch centre screw until the pointer and pip align. After this is done adjust the cable adjuster for 3mm play at the end of the handlebar lever. Now...how about an intro in 'new members'

what is the battery voltage displaying on your meter?

1975 Yamaha RS100 turn signal issues!
I agree with tony here, i suspect the chinese bulbs are 12v, if you have a multimeter a 12v bulb will display a higher resistance than a 6v one...if that were the case there wouldnt be enough current in the circuit to cause the relay to switch on and off

06 DT125RE REBUILD TIME!
wont need much keiran, about 300 miles i'd say. The concern is what happened with the first one? I've heard lots of times how DTR engines have had pv piston collisions! is this what yours had? some pics would have been nice, and of the piston (crumpet) crown too...doesnt sound good

not a fan of those filters myself, i would never junk an airbox in preference to one of those, get a proper yamaha filter is what i say (if you need one)

DT175MX 1979 - Parts Question
Ahh despite your topic heading 1979 it has now changed to 1980, in that case the carb id is 3U500 As for the oil in the crank? you mean in the gearbox it happened to me once when the seal had popped out of its location in the oil pump drive shaft, you'll have to take off the right hand clutch cover to see (drain oil first) It's not worth considering any other faults until you sort this Have you posted an intro in 'New Members' ?
