what you should consider is that the generator wont be all that powerful...However, certainly the Oxford grips have several power levels...so perhaps stay away from the 'high' setting?

cant see how this is possible...given The ignition timing is spot on The rotor woodruff key is fitted and intact Have you used the bike previous to this?

looks like you'll be in for the same scenario with the other, if you get it even to just 'crack' open a little keep reciprocating the wrench but with an undoing bias if you see what I mean

wow that was quick, dont forget to torque up the magneto bolt/nut tight on re-assembly, its common to find people just tightening these things 'best they can' only to end up with a sheared woodruff key later!!!
