TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
dont want to pay the price of a rider tasky especially when the ONE v2 will do it but much cheaper, if it pans out i'll be getting one off fleabay. Its the Itinerary feature I'm after most...I reckon they stopped it on the ONE v3 so they could sell more riders and make more money...clever eh

TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
yeah i think it does, if you search for itinerary in the ebay gps section, along with the v2's via michelin also make an appearance

TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
maybe but with itinerary you can select your route by dragging a route in something like google maps and then just name it and download it to a folder in your satnav...altogether easier in my book, the via thing i'm not so sure, how would you tell it via when you're in the middle of nowhere on lanes and small roads?

TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
mine's a v3 DirtyDT it has internal flash memory, no bluetooth and no Itinerary Planning... but I see the v2 has an SD card, Bluetooth and 'Itinerary Planning' which is a great feature, looks like the newer versions are a downgrade so they can sell TomTom Riders for more £££'s

TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
So having yet again gotten lost on the 2 stroke rideout I have been doing some research. I have been using a TomTom ONE v3 and this device invariably sends me down dual carriageways which is NOT good on the ageing DT175! However i 'think' the v2 has what's called itinerary planning whereby the user can specify exactly the route to take which is a big plus on specified rideout routes...it also has bluetooth so can be used with in ear speakers? am I right? can anyone shed any light on this?

aerox 100cc battery drains when starting up with elec start and then wont start can any1 help
sorry fella, cant offer any sensible advice about it...assuming your battery is good of course i'd be taking he starter motor off and having a look... How come theres no kicker on it, at least that would tell us the engine isnt jammed up?

aerox 100cc battery drains when starting up with elec start and then wont start can any1 help
perhaps the starter clutch has jammed, maybe time to get the spanners out but I cant offer any advice there..no experience of them

DT175MX Big One Exhaust
yes they arent very fast Dave, 60 is about it without thrashing it, I would expect the big one should have a bigger jet but if you are happy with the standard one you might as well stick with that eh? by all means check the sprockets 15/49 is standard but it's common to go up 1 on the front for better road speeds

no you wont see it by removing the pump you have to remove the RH casing, be careful of the shim washer that always falls off the peg at the front a few tips Drain the oil, if its good oil clean around the drain plug first and drain it into something clean...and then you can re-use it (your choice) undo the rear brake rod adjuster and use some string / cable tie around the arm and footrest brkt to hold the lever down out of the way disconnect the pipe to the oil tank and jam it in the cylinder head fins, if the bike is on it's side stand no oil will come through (but check) you may get away without disconnecting the awkward to remove pipe from the pump to the carb if you pull off the case and invert it and tie it up...see pic dont forget the hidden case screw behind the pump cover dont forget to replace the shim as mentioned earlier on re-assembly how about drawing a line on some masking tape that indicates the 2 stroke oil level and monitoring that? The seal in question is behind the plastic drive gear, heres the case tied up to save work If your case gasket is in good nick like the one in the picture...hey you can even re-use that...another scotsman showed me ...If not.'Wemoto' sell them individually, or at least they did do

Fuel Tap
there is also the possibility the carb float valve are passing, you should strip and clean the carbs anyhow if it's been sitting stood a long while
-
Generator rota removal
Agreed, there shouldnt be any destruction going on to remove a rotor theres normally a recessed thread in the rotor to accept a puller!

DT175MX Crankcase Breather
bit of a misnoma that, in reality it's a gearbox (transmission) breather pipe . Whats the dipstick saying then? As you're new here Dave, how about an intro in new members?
