  6. yeah so it seems, c'mon ben you can google too http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_263941_langId_-1_categoryId_165547
  7. It would be best charged, it would be best to use a bike specific charger too, but if you're desperate a car charger will do for a short while and if it has a low/high setting use low, 15 mins will do If you do end up charging it, check the level is between the max/min lines it may need topping up with distilled water (not tap water)
  8. yeah put it in 3rd gear (or 2nd if you can get away with it) Turn the key on Put choke on Pull the clutch in Sit on the bike and get a friend to push untill you build speed let the clutch out hopefully it will go...be prepared for it to take off with ya so if it fires...be in control of it (pulling the clutch back in usually)
  9. charge the battery before you do anything else, either that or try a bump start
  10. is it elec start, do you hear the click when you hit the start button?
  11. A Gallon is 4.5 litres,...(4500 milli litres) 4500/30 = 150ml so 150ml for 4.5 litres (imperial gallon) if your gallon is US gallon you'll have to find how many litres that equates to and modify this slightly
  12. try googling the tyre size mate
  13. agg dont order it from cpc, google it. They have delivery charges at cpc unless you spend £45 or something...I only posted it for the paint...not the supplier!
  14. is the plug secure Ben? you havent overtightened it and stripped the thread have you? when do you hear the wheezing sound?
  15. Airhead replied to kenDAWG's post in a topic in The Bar
have you took out the plug and reconnected to the HT lead, rested the plug on the engine and checked the spark?
  16. Airhead replied to kenDAWG's post in a topic in The Bar
try undoing the carb drain screw and turning on the fuel Ken...I'm thinking theres no fuel in the bowl You can check if it's an elec issue easy enough...Just see if the plug is sparking

    Greetings Brad...what a great dad
  19. I'd use araldite or an equivalent epoxy adhesive instead of super glue, the sump guard I'd clean up with wet/dry and treat with jenolite then spray with zinc primer first before the silver top coat...cant see it getting all that hot underneath the engine as heat rises? I use this http://cpc.farnell.com/ambersil/6190011512/zinc-primer-400ml/dp/SA02190

no john, they all have frame and eng numbers beginning 2K4 even the later ones, its the engine/chassis 'number' that denotes the year
  22. Airhead replied to RickGM's post in a topic in The Bar
in my experience it usually points to old and dirty contacts in the ignition switch you can prove this to be the case or not by temporarily running a 'live' from the battery to the indicator relay...unplug the brown and fix your 'live' to the terminal on the relay
