Good choice kit Greetings and
-
if your radiator gets warm...all is well
-
I think theres some confusion here oliver wants to bleed air from the 'airlocked system' oliver just take of the rad cap and give the pipes a few pumping squeezes...that should do it
-
once a year or 6000 miles would do it for me...or go off the manual
-
The head gasket is leaking, thats what's wrong! You should stop riding it or risk warping your cylinder head! Buy a genuine yamaha one...pattern ones cant be trusted IMO...been there and got the T shirt
-
original plea for help 9th july, original poster not been on since 9th july...bad manners in the least .....pahhhh!!!!!
-
Thanks for the update cupcake...one to warch for in future eh?

Ultimately the biggest warning you'll get is engine seizure...yikes Best to fit a clear tube between the pump output and the carb and any air bubbles present in this tube should be investigated Also the seals can dislodge or start to leak...If the pump drive seal leaks badly your gearbox oil level will be increased by the leaking 2T oil The pump piston also has a small seal and if that one is leaking you will see 2T oil in the pump compartment The pump should be bled though do you know the bleeding procedure? Personnally I'm a big fan of these pumps myself...far better than premix IMO so why do you thing your pump is failing?
-
whats the deal here, why not just fit a new seal ?
-
yeah the oil light is for the 2 troke oil, you put that in the tank not the engine!...you're causing confusion now for sure
-
you can just take out the drain screw, drain it into a clean container and refit the screw when the level has dropped no need to fully drain it. Use the oil in the container to add some if you overdo the draining. isnt there a 'window in the case for the oil level? if there is the oil should be half way in the window with the bike upright.

I'm no expert but I dont see why not. -
wrong answer my friend, you need to check the oil level and do something about it if it's over filled
-
you dont fill it until it's pretty full, you fill it to the correct level, havent you got a manual or owners book to refer to? Over filling could be the cause of the issues you are having!
-
or you could just fit someroad biased tyres to the existing wheels (avon distanza?)
-
They did make this bike in supermoto form, it's the DT125X so look out for wheels and forks for one of these bikes...NEV will tell you more if he sees this post

I think he's referring to a 12v digital speedo Jason? -
Greetings Jörg

theres something wrong...something not fitted right...kicker axle, did you put the kicker return spring into its correct hole...ie NOT the adjacent casing screw hole?
-
Thats not the case ( no pun intended) I have never had to use sealer and have therefore been able to re-use the same gasket many times over...you must have a lump on one of the mating surfaces
-
Pretty sure that the bent bit of the clip goes into that square hole in the case
-
another easy check is try it without the airfilter in to eliminate a dirty clogged filter
