Tried ebay - I can't find any seals specifically for an xt125x - if I new what size I needed or other bikes that have the same forks then i probably would be able to find loads on ebay - thanks for your suggestion.

I've been searching for Fork seals for my XT125X as one of the seals is is leaking oil pretty badly now. I've been searching online for replacements but I can only find ones for the 1980's model. Any recommendations on the right seal and fork oil - its a hydrolic fork with 36mm stems. Thanks

Hi Dan -I got an XT125X and its my first bike too. Yours is a slightly different model but the battery should be located under the seat. I've got a diagram in my hand book so if you haven't located it in a few days I'll see if I can put a post of it up.

This is my first bike and I'm keen keen to learn as much as I can by doing all the manageable service jobs myself. The manual that came with the bike is next to useless so if anyone can recommend a good manual for a xt125 x then that would be great. With regards to changing the chain and sprocket - I've found sprockets for my bike online but haven't a clue what size and make chain to get and I also need advice on the correct type of rear paddock stand. Thanks
