That add reply didn't work lol, Took engine casing off to look at clutch assembly, firstly notice arrow on front plate was pointing in wrong direction (not good start) havent removed plates yet to see if thier aligned properly, its the clutch lifter itself that bothers me, it pulls straight out of engine too easy ? should there not be something retaining it in position even if this was just a seal or something it just seems too open to let water and muck in for my likeing, ?

Hi everyone, Just registered so here comes some newbie questions, I recently bought a tzr 125 4dl (approx 1991, not registered yet) It came without clutch cable, so i fitted one (uk tzr cable) but i can't seem to adjust it to work, bike just wants to set off when you drop it into to gear, do i have to drain oil before opening clutch case ? will a standard uk set of clutch plates fit. Also revs don't seem to drop right, its revs up fine altho it vibrates a lot on the handle bars (is that normal) when you let the revs drop it seem lazy ? I reckon i'll have to stip carb and maybe have a deaper look at the engine does anyone know if a uk gasket set will do, or are these engines so different they have thier own. Oh and headlight ;-) as it italian it points the wrong way, I've read about conversions and apparently a headlight unit from a fzr would fit, but not sure of year or model fzr. Thanks in advance, I did roll through yamaha workshop forums but got to like page 42 with no help on subjects. Paul
