Not sure what tank will fit a 93 YZF, have tried to get hold of one without a dent in it so now thinking of any other tanks i could use, can you suggest one that will work from another bike plz.........??

Due to the fact that i need a new tank for a 750 YZF and finding it hard to get one without a dent, can anyone tell me what other tanks i could use that will fit and not look out of place, the more options i have the better

Thanks guys all ideas noted, bike is having a respray anyway so just living with it is out, money is tight atm so taking it to any sort of metal works is out unless work comes in, (on my knee's praying), filling (mmmm) still not convinced about yet as it will be a lot of filler, ?tion on this option, if filled will any water get in behind filler and cause rust??, this is what is throwing me off idea, as for pressurizing i think this will split the tank due to the angle of the dent. Have tried looking for a new tank for a YZF 93 Mod but have come up with no results so if anyone has any ideas where to look then Plz let me know......... Thanks all and safe riding!!

How can i get a dent out of my tank, i would post some pics of the dent which i have but dont know how to. The dent is in the top left side and is 8inches long, 3inches wide and about a 1/4 deep, have thought of a replacing but rather get the dent out as its the only thing wrong with tank and filling is a NO, NO!!

Can anyone tell me how to put a pic up in my new topic post, not to hot on this comp thing so if i have to go through the Yam gallery, then how to do will be a great help as i need advice on something....... Cheers all who read and help, B safe on those roads!

This may sound a bit cheeky but you dont know unless you ask!, but has anyone got a petrol tank laying around thats not wanted for a YZF750r 93 mod, got a bad crease in the one i have and now the bike is under going a re-spray, another tank is a must.........If you have then get in touch.........thanx Mark......

Thanks, just wot i needed nice finnish on the bike as well........ If anyone else reads this thread and can help with ideas in reguards to the wheels, (stripping colour off and such) it would be a great help!!

Hi all, firstly my name is Mark and this is my first post as i am new on here.... I am in the process of giving my 93 YZF a bit of TLC and i have ripped all the old decals off the fairing as they wer getting shabby, so will be spraying it a diff colour, was wondering if a light sand down would spoil the end results, not doind anything fancy just a str8 spray off (Black), hope you could give me a few tips as well if any members read this in Brighton area as i wish to change the colour of my wheels, wot is the best way to do this when DIYing it or some where to take them????..........Thanks to all that reply
