Here , see the small hole at bottom of choke well, blast it thru with carb cleaner, .it may need rodding , ,fuel must pass thru, to fill the well, for choke to work , -

Hi lavmax, yeh its the choke lever, witch if fed by a brass pipe that's dips in to a well in the carb bowl, thers a small hole feeds the well .make shure its clear, as cynic says , get full flow from tank first, pull the pipe to see flow. -

Up and down simon ? not side to side , my kwaker triple did this on middle cylinder , rattled like hell, well its a crank big end for you then, Grampian eng [ Liverpool ] will supply and fit .

Is it a nakarsil bore ? these can be coated back to standard size, google is best friend here , find company to price it,,

Yeh , jeff " try dropping the front sprocket 1 tooth, it will pull the higher gears to red line,
