Yeh rick , stick with the originals, they shud pull the dt mono-shock up. coz its lite. brakes are all calculated on wieght, my dt400 front brake was very good ,

Well rick," start with the obvious, spark at plug, if none side cover off, and check pionts, [ spark & gap] They [ DTs] don"t need a charged battery, coz magneto ignition, & get a manual. post up pics, is it the red/ whie model. ?
