  1. Its down to mixture , running at the leanest possible without seizure, too big a main, and it will bog the engine, too big a front sprocket would hamper a small CC bike, check your plug colour, [ after a blast,] , light brown is good, Air filtre" need atention too, nore fuel [ big jet] = more air = more power,
  2. Aye john"o , when in holland this year returning from Spa" our squad had a deadline for the ferry, we came apon a thrree lane traffic jam, well some os us took the middle [ fitre] and some took the hard shoulder, ,, we were filtering at 25-30 mph, so if some one opened a door" it was curtians, A plonker seen us in mirror, and pulled into hard shoulder, diagonal, not breakdown, we took the grass , and saluted him with the finger, never clipped a mirror yet,

  9. Yip " i echo thier words, i like small CC bikes, i feel comfy on them, and my widowmaker 750 is fast and exciting , but tops out at 115mph, fast enuff for me, i think a 250 is a good all rounder, great for windy roads, I mean i"v tried ZZR"S & Fireblades, but ther not for me, TOO bloody fast, i know its only as fast as you want it to go, but wen its there on tap, you can"t resist using it,

Well guys" the problem is the dogs [ beveled lugs on side of gears] must be worn or chipped, what happens is when you engage a gear, the dogs lock together, they are under-cut, this makes them pull tighter together as force is applied,[ torque - revs] If the dogs are worn, they spin apart , [jump out] , so its a rebuild box am afraid, The selector does not hold it in gear,
  24. Hee" well europe someplace,,,, Why have they changed the date of the 2 strokegathering,, we had a vote on dates for Andorra, and we [ i] planned round the Squires meet, now the"ve moved the goalposts,,,
