    Aye slicer " it will run lean as hell , it will need choke on startup for a lot longer than normal, then thers the flat spot when given a big hand full,. The jetting will be a nightmare to get correct, if them guys have the proper kit sounds good , as you"l spend a lot of time and heart-ache setting her up, [ as they have ,to got where they are with the kit] Am a stock airbox fan,,

    Yeh " are them cushion rings just to stop chatter,[ noise] . , some triples boys bead blast the steels, for more friction,,, Back up to the reeds, you say you may enlarge the openings on the cage,,,will the reeds still cover, are they plenty big.[overlap]?

    I suppose its an unmeasured answer this,,,if gentle riding I think probably the life of the bike, I burnt out the clutch of my DT175 in 1977 . in 1 ploughed field ,got bogged and had to slip clutch to get out,, fried and knackerd completely,,

    Sounds interesting " how you gonna mate the bigger carb,? and the filter side will be 50mm at least, you gonna fit a pod, filter, .? With them reeds you removed the buffers, does that work ok,,,
