:Hi parsons it be the 2 stroke oil light, it will light in neutral[ bulb check] , and then only come on when oil tank is low, Member Cynic has experienced this

I built my H2 a few times , the grooved bearings had a half clip, it was to stop lateral movement, [ so I was told] that another reason you get missed gears,[false neutrals] if theres wear [ even 1 or 2 mm] on bearings the shafts move away from each other enuff to miss gear selection, couple this together with worn selectors and its rebuild box time, Anyway the mains were normal bearings held from spinning in the cases by a smear of locktight,,

Good bit of work going on here, since when did yams start using NX bearings [ grooved] Kawasaki had them on gear shafts. on horizontal split casings. cant see how they"d work on vertical split engines,,

Ok if she starts, and runs then cuts out,,,its either fuel starvation or coil break-up, pull fuel pipe run it into a jug, see the flow if this is ok , its maybe float valve [ in carb] sticking or crap in it,,, do this fisrt then ,if it still dies change coil , or spark plug too,

Good move " my mate sandy put 40mm risers on his street , cables are fine, remember cover the tank with a towel , as if a spanner etc drops , mind sit on it and adjust you levers after installation, get the angle etc,, you can hold the bars up while paul fits the risers,,handy,,,
