Well theres a hulluva difference between a DT barrel & a YZ .. the porting is massive on the YZ, and the reed block inlet,, Wiseco do up to 2.00mm oversize .

Now then " chrome . I"v just done all my DT400 bits, and sent them to Agbrigg ,Leeds , 1 week turn around . the forks will need Hard chome , [different process ] http://www.amphardchrome.co.uk/ , Am just about to do this, , Am not a fan of powder coating, am painting the hubs, , you cane polish the fork bottoms youself, 1200 grit wet n dry first,, . Dep make good pipes,,

I would say repeated attempts to start her, and maybe the float level/valve in carb ,, just get her running then giv her a blast up the road, . new plug will help too , -

Well you"ve got the right side coupled to the headlight, , need swapped, usually its green =left .brown - r/h, inside the headlight you need to trace the wire back from r/h, and the correct spade is onto headlight, [ yellow] , but you need a diagram, it"l look like spaghetti in there ,
