watch if you moddify your bike cause if you want to do your test on your bike, and its got a race can on it then they can refuse to do the test, best to keep it standard till you get a full lience

do u have the new indicators on the front aswell or just the back?

now that you have brought it up you might aswell tell us im sure i have seen/herd of worse what happend at the petrol station?

compared to a r1 the power is going to be alot less on a fazer 1000cc fazer is going to have more power than the 600 fazer, but it will be heavier, you no all that i would recomend taking one for a test ride like you have done, and see how comfortable you are with it, and it gives you what you want

my friend has a 600 fazer, he does 130 miles to work and back and he loves the bike so i would recomend one of them, like the other guys said, 125 are fine for learning on but not for making big journeys like yours, dont buy a small bike get a lience and get a big bike!

It will look better than that once i clean her up also gona put ace bars on instead and smaller indicators
