might clean it up good, start it then blow some baby powder in the general area, that should help track it down. itll pool up on the powder.

Id go fuses first then start with GND, be sure you dont have a GND wire off somewhere, Im not sure on this model but some yamys have a GND inthe headlight bucket, should be 3 blacks joined, goin by memory but I think itll kill the electrics to ACC's.

havent been on here for quit a while, thought Id pop in. Been busy building riding and playing with the bikes, GOD I love summer yay! Heres a ride vid ,, took this on the 78. Its a little wavey and im learning how to mix tunes and vids so its kinda amature. some pics, redid the bike in the vid slightly with black rims. and custom head pipe thats a red devil can on a mac header. still have the bobbed xs650. took an old MT250 honda and stuck it in an old hardtail , its a hoot. still tweeking it. Ive got a pesky leak in the oil injection between the pump and intake block that keeps outsmarting me. with the whole world going to shit, without bikes id go bonkers.
  20. unbolt tap and wiggle, ive parted 2 of em both weathered, no probs.

  23. try this guy, youll want the 3 phase. there pricey but it will end any charging woes you got . youll still want a small battery or your lights ect will drop with revs. & heres a simple wiring diag.
  24. your gonna need a battery, unless you swap out to a sparx unit, I still use a battery although you can go small size, both mine are kick only, huge weight loss and kickin is just a personal thing. Ill try to post a wiring diag after work. purty simple to wire.
