  2. Hi all, I have got a Yamaha DT125R And i put a new front pipe on it, Just a standard one i bought off the bay cause mine had massive whole in it. But once i have my new silencer i would like to Re-jet it if anybody had a guide that would be great. I would also like to find out on how to de-restrict my Yamaha? thanks Phil
  3. Hi all, I have a yamaha DT125R. I want to make it look more motocross because it's always used offroad mx it will never be used on the road again. So i have no use for the keys, speedo etc. How would i go about taking all off these of? I want to take headlight off aswell and have the plastic thingy that goes over it with my number there. I can take the stand of aswell, Anything can you all suggest what to take off? My bike is the 91 version.. Thanks Phil I will post some pics tomorrow

  5. Yeah iv had a quick look about, Looks a good site! One thing i would like to change on my bike would be the fork covers there like yellow.. all the plastics are black so looks a bit strange but i think you have to take the whole forks off don't you?
  6. Hi, I basicly have got this at xmas it's purely for using off road. It does have a MOT etc though. Anyway the front pipe had a massive hole in it, So i bought a new one from ebay just a standard one. And fitted that. I now want to rejet the carb but i have no idea on doing this! People i have spoken to said i should go up a size then it will be better so on. Whats the cost in doing this? Is it a hard job todo? Also i would like to look at derestricting it. If somebody could explain that to me that would be great! It's a 1991 version if thats any use. Thanks Phil
  7. Will a petrol leave blower do the job? If it started straight after i finnished cleaning it, There can't be to much damage can there?
  8. Hi all, I went out riding on saturday, Got back and cleaned by bike (it was completely muddy) with a jetwash, then after that. I started it up and went for a quick ride! Then i put it away in my garage. Today i went to start it, and it usally starts first time every time.. But now i can't start it whatsoever! My dad suggested the plug may be a bit damp and take the cap lead thingy off and spray some WD40 in there! I did that but there was no diffrence, He thinks the spark plug may be broken? It is rather old spark plug. I just don;t understand how it worked after i had just cleaned it and not today. Maby i got some water somewhere! Anyway any help would be great.. Thanks Phil
  9. Thanks for that help! I am going to tighten the chain as you suggested to the correct movement in the chain! Can you give me a more detailed idea on adjusting the clutch? As i am new to all this stuff! I am going learn! Many thanks Phil
  10. Hi all, I recently got this bike for my first bike.. I was just filling the oil ect and i noticed the chain looked very very slack. So i tightened it to the 3 finger distance as a friend told me i should have. But when i put it into gear it then stalled. I then put it back to how it was and it works fine. there is a picture off how slack it was, I have the chain guard missing. I have circled the part i need! Can you tell me what this is called and where i can get the part from? Do you think that the chain was alright? I think it's partly todo with that chain guard thats missing, Will i damage the bike without one till i buy a new one? How tight should the chain be? And if when i do tighten it why does it stall when i go into gear? When its slack it doesnt stall? If you can provide any help i will be greatful thanks phil!
