I've posted this same reply in another thread. However, for tyonek's sake, I'll do it again. I think it's flooded. It happened to me so many, many times without me knowing the cause. It happened always when I let the bike tilt on its stand. The carburetor overflows and floods the engine. When I let the bike stand by the wall and is almost upright, it does not happen. What I did was I adjusted the float and it never happened again even if I let the bike stand on its own and the tilt is great. To make sure that it doesn't really happen again, I installed a new fuel switch and I switch off the fuel line when I let the bike stand.

Most probably it's flooded. If the tilt of the motorcycle is so slanted because it's old already, the float in the carburetor may have leaked in fuel and flooded the engine. It happened to me so many, many times and it took me some time to figure this out. It only happens when I let it stay on its stand. However, it doesn't happen when I lean it to a wall and let it stand upright. I adjusted the float and that did it.
  3. I just changed my DT125 (1997) wiring harness the other month. They're so brittle. It's beyond repair. In our place, they don't sell 2 stroke parts anymore to discourage 2 stroke motorcycles. However, they have a lot of old stock of different 2 stroke models, particularly RS100. Most of the parts of this model fit the DT125, including the electrical wire harness. However, there are some modifications to be done. I bought the RS100 rectifier instead of using the original. I also tapped the wires for the CDI since the connectors are completely different.
