  1. L.O. Just bought a TDM, we are going to italy on it summer 2008. Look at my other two bikes and you can see why i need this for touring. I find it a little top heavy now, god knows what it,s like fully loaded. Still nothing ventured!!!!! So far we like it, 90mph cruising no problem, 200 mile tank range. Oh yes! we are both 60 plus and can manage this bike ok. Good luck what ever you do. Nosbor.

L.O. Pixx. Right then, no problem . Unless they are already blowing, you must have an M.O.T with the bike if from a dealer, try painting them with high temp engine paint, i did. lasted for ages. failing that, use plenty of W. D . Let it soak for ages. There are plenty of replacement full sytems in the M.C.N adds. Easy job if you have a set of sockets/spanners. Do not force the nuts or you might damage a stud. Use more W. D. When putting back together, put together slack, than work front to back. Same with rad grill. I had one for 35.000 miles, traded for new fz6n , super bike, bad press but they all talk bollocks. Good luck. Nosbor.

I agree. Ride mag would be interested in visiting that dealer for there Rider power survey. Old trick for reducing vibes is to take off bar end weights and roll up some builders lead and wack it in to the bar ends then replace the bar end weights. I have a fz6n. No problems on the vibe front. It,s also mega on track days. Nosbor.
