nope no noise, when pressing the starter button its as if the switch was dead, everything else on the bike works as normal, just when you hit the starter its as if there is no battery on the bike nothing happens

Hello all My first post here. Today i went to my bike as normal turn on the ignition, pressed the starter switch and nothing zilch. Has no alarm or imobiliser on it All lights, horn and indicators are working fine just the starter switch has ceased to work, if anyone has had a similar problem or knows of what this could be i'd be very greatful.
