I had the same problem with my TDM, I serviced both carbs with a new floats and needle kit. My newest bike a 1994 XJ600s, was so much easier to work on. As i cleaned all 4 carbs and fitted new inlet rubbers, in a quarter of the time of the TDM. Good luck. Andy

Hi, Just started restoring a 1991 Fzr 600. I don't know much about this bike as I have just inherited it from my late brother My brother stored it for 2 years in a garage, it started. with a charged battery, oil change etc.....But there is a slight misfire. So armed with my Haynes bible, I will start the process of fault finding. My only problem is what is the best spark plug tool to use and what size? Your help would be appreciated. regards Andy
