Hi Alex. simple ans is NO, most all are sealed units But the line filler should stop any bad stuff comeing from the fuel tank so i would check them out . Its normaly water in the system thats the problem on fillups and that dont stop the pump working you need to clean the carbs and tank out of bad fuel. to clean the pump just flush clean fuel through it. if there no suction the diaframs duff end of story. Well ... that sounds just like my FZ1abs 2007 and i cant find the dam noise,, it dont slow it down any or make things not workso untill it shows a better sign of ware we have to put up with it. My H Hornet had the same noise that i fixed by removeing the screen and refitting, not so with the Yami. Givi do a touring screen that helps a little on the Yami up to the ton after that its keep ur head down and elbows in, if you hear of a full fairing let me know. navi like the speed but not the wind.

How cares about mpg when the main thing is to get the BEST mph/rpm out of the little darlings... navi

Hello and thank you for reading my request for help... I have a new FZ1 sa Fazer that has 700 klm on the clock , after a quick if you can call 7.000 rpm quick on the motorway for a short time and distance of only a few klm . on returning home I found grease on the center stand thats seems to be from the chain !! What I need to know is this normal... as I understand the chain should be sealed or have thay failed. This is the only thing that I can find faulty. its just a great bike to ride athough I would like a bigger flyscreen. If it is narmal for this to happen they there is no need to worry and shall not have to return it to the dealer here in Portugal. many thanks navi

Hi well in cold weather any engine will puff out white smoke (steam) gray to black is fuel. and blue is oil. if the white smoke is still there when the engine hot check the fuel for water . if there is you should have a missfire bad running and poor starting. chech for a clean plug. If it runs smooth and dont missfire ,,, dont worry . navi
