It happens at any steady throttle speed.

Hell yeah man, thanks i'll look into it. Sounds expensive, but I guess i'll have to bite the bullet and just get it done.

Hey guys, my 01 r6 started sputtering. Right around mid throttle, not accelerating, just holding steady, the bike sputters and feels like it surges. Feels like fuel issue, but when i rip on it i get No Hesitation at all. If it were a fuel issue i figure it would get worse when accelerating. Only acts funny when holding a steady speed. Changed the plugs,(needed to be done anyway) checked the gaps before installing. Still runs exactly the same. old plugs were picture perfect, just worn a bit. 13k miles on it now, getting annoying. Hope someone can help me out. Ignition/timing issue? Carbs just need tuned? Thanks again, Patrick
