  1. Well it turned out to be a coolant leak pouring out, the garage fixed her up np... But since then my engine keeps heating to 125 degrees when i stop for more than 3 min!! Is Crazy!!!, but I got that figured, it was my cap on my rad.. these Yamahas sure are sensitve creatures arnet they!! Sam...

Hey new here and looking ofr your technical expertise, I just bough a 1999 R6 over the weekend, seems to run and ride fine, just that when I park it up & leave it it slowly leaks some oil or fuel onto the ground, not a great deal but it seems to be a constant leak. It seems to collect in the bottom of the fairing as there is a puddle in there, then finds it way onto the ground. Now is this normall, I know my CBR6 used to have a pipe for excess fluids and drip onto my chain, maybe it's just leaking wrong? or maybe the bike needs a looking at? Anyhow if anyone has any ideas it would be much appriciated.. Cheers Sam..
