    I have a '07 FZ6 with the underseat exhaust and haven't had a problem so far, that said I haven't had the bike very long..

    At 600 miles (or after 6 weeks - whichever comes sooner) the first service is due, oil and oil filter are changed I do believe, mine's coming up soon
