Anything taller or heavier than a fazer because I can't ride it. There's so many lovely bikes out there and I will never be able to try them, unless I develop legs like tree trunks at some point of course.

He has an R1, problem is 3 days before picking up his brand new bike last year he did his back in at work. The bikes not even through its first service and he's finally admitted he won't ever be able to ride it, he has a go now and then but is crippled for days afterwards. He can ride his dads fazer 1000 without too many probs but being self employed means he works 24/7. This year we haven't gone out together yet. I've been out a few times for short runs out but its not the same as having a group and a route planned out. Our sunroom at home is a yam showroom, 2 fazers and an R1, and I've done the most miles, it only took me a month to get it through its first service.

I generally ride on my own because none of my friends have bikes. I go out with my bloke and his friends now and then but I don't like to hold other people back, they have faster bikes and more experience and a death wish. I prefer to look after myself, my bike and my license. None of my female friends will even go out on the back so I guess I'm doomed to be a lonely biker. I'm sure I'd learn more going out in a group but I'm not prepared to push myself more than I'm happy with just to keep up.

I watched it last night and was horrified at the amount of machinery they smashed up, if they love their bikes why don't they look after them better. Oh and how come the wierd chick described the killer as riding a black custom?? What is custom about a Mille?

I'm 25, female and love my fazer. I live in north lancs and like to go out to play round the lakes at weekends. I'm only 5'4" and 8 stone and apparantly look like a little kid on my bike. If anyone ever sees me struggling moving my bike around feel free to offer a hand, I'm no feminist and am not embarassed to admit it's hard moving something 10 times your own body weight. I prefer bikes to cars but my other half has a kit car company so I have to learn about all of that stuff too.

Yeah exactly he's just jealous because #1 I have a bike and he doesnt, #2 I have a new bike (well OK a year old now but still only owned by me) and he doesnt, #3 I look damn fine in leather and he doesn't. Most blokes are happy enough if their other halves don't complain if they have a bike, even happier if they agree to go out on the back, and would be chuffed if they had their own bike. Thanks for all the votes of confidence everyone next time he dares to say anything about my lovely bike I'll just point out that he's showing his ignorance and should read up on how much of a fantastic all rounder my fazer is.

He's actually said he'd never go on the back of me, I reckon it's just male pride, that and the fact that he's twice my weight. That'd be a funny sight though.

I know Bazz how dare he say that about my pride and joy, and lets face it I'm 25, 5'4", 8 stone and female, jeez I think I'm doing pretty well to actually have my own bike. Performance-wise I can't fault it, I use it to commute and to go out to play at weekends and it does does all I need it to. Being small kind of cuts down my choice anyway, I had a sit on a fazer thou last night and couldn't lift it off the side stand. Kind of gutted really as I always thought I'd move up to one when I 'grow up'. My so called friend tried to say it wasn't very good at cornering and kind of barbled on about it not being very quick... To be honest I reckon he's just jealous that he has nothing and I have a lovely piece of machinery.

A friend who has been away from bikes for far too long keeps taking the p*** out of me for having a fazer and asking when I'll get a 'proper' bike. I can only presume he knows nothing about how damn fine my pride and joy is, he reckons when he was riding (many years ago) fazers weren't very good. I've tried to find info about my 2003 fazer and can only find the newer model info. I'd like to know the 0-60 and bhp/tonne, anyone have any ideas?
