I purely keep it away from reserve if possible because my bike is an older one and I don't trust the tank and I don't have a fuel gauge so it's far too easy for me to run it dry!

My YB doesn't drip from its overflow to my knowledge, I thought it was purely a cautionary thing but I will check when I head home and see how my carb is all set.

A friend of mine who drives a Corsa constantly has his on and when I asked him why? He said it makes the car look lower... Idiot.

Their removal would benefit averyone don't ya know? Muppet.

As my bike is my only means of transport, I have no choice but to ride in any weather. The only time I've caught the bus instead was when it was snowy and icy because I'm not willing to take the chance!

I speak to my local bike shop usuaally as they get me genuine parts imported.

Only tip I can offer is take your time getting used to it. Being as I only passed my CBT a few months ago, I'm still getting to grips with my bike and it's only a 100! Just remember not to push too hard because you might not know how to cope with what gets thrown at you. Most importantly, have fun! Biking is an absolute hoot and you will find the sense of community that comes with owning a bike really good.

Haha, I'm gonna have to be honest, my YB100 was free so that's why I ride it.

The power crave hits us all, my YB had some work done and crikey does it show. With the key, have you possibly bent it whilst it was in the barrel of the ignition or, if applicable, the fuel cap? My friend thinks he bent his when he dropped the fuel cap with the keys in it. And blast you all for having side stands!

Hi guys, I'm a bit of a paranoid bugger and I'm fairly worried about people siphoning fuel from my YB100 because it's not a locking fuel cap and it's autolube, meaning the 2-stroke oil isn't in the fuel. Is there any locking filler cap solutions or would I need to chop in a whole new neck to the tank? Thanks!

In Shropshire with a 100cc!

I know I'm not exactly riding a high performance bike but I use Castrol Chainwax and it was recommended by guys on bigger better bikes! I'm happy with it, it's worth a look!
