Impatient But Boring
Learning how to pass your test is a completely different thing to learning how to ride IMO. All those bloody stupid "life savers" your so busy bloody looking behind you your not taking any notice whats in front!

Impatient But Boring
700-1000uk  Go for it if you can afford it! Will you be looking for new or used? My mate had a '99 model and I bought it of him when he went travelling, the intention was to pass it straight on but I ended up keeping it for 11 months cos I liked it so much! You can pick the early ones up reletively cheap now but watch out cos many of them have been raced!

Impatient But Boring
Hello I believe you are correct about the training but it would be best to check it with a training school as the rules have changed a lot lately. Insurance will be pretty steep on an R6 though if your a new rider, some places may not even insure you.

Yo R1 pilots...
That's very true JMW but pirelli seem to have lost the plot in recent years. The dunlops were in such high demand in the summer that our shop actually had a waiting list  Trust me they're the mutts nuts!

NEC Motorbike Show 2004
Anyway little is good IMO, it'll help discourage middleaged men with beer bellies from trying to squeeze into racing leathers

Yo R1 pilots...
I use Dunlop 207 RR's F**king awesome on my R1! My mates all use them on theirs aswell. They get a big thumbs up. Ive done road and track riding with them and have always felt 100% confident in them, Cliffy uses them on his Gixer1000 too. I belive Dunlop are bringing out a 208 soon (if it's not already out) so I will probably try them next.

I believe it was differences of opinion. IE the forums opinion was that he was a liar and his opinion was that he wasn't!
