Motorcycle clothing
When I started in the mid eighties it was jeans, paddock jacket and trainers. Stayed like that for a long time until I wanted to do a track day so I bought a second hand suit just for that. After falling off a few times myself and seeing the aftermath of some of my friends crashes I never go anywhere now unless I have my full "power ranger" outfit on!

Bike Advice needed!
Being able to play MotoGp and being able to ride bikes are worlds apart mate. I'm crap at MotoGp never be able to get around a track without falling off. I do however own an R1, if fact at one point I owned 2. The one I still have has nearly 28,000 miles on it, put on through road riding and track days. Buy whatever you want, when you pass your test, if you can afford the insurance get a Huyabusa or an R1 but make sure your funeral arrangemnets are sorted to save your Moma the hassel.

Hello and welcome to the forum. As to answering your question:- With a gung ho attitude like yours a DT50 should be enough to get you killed. Start from the bottom and work up. A huyabusa or an R1 do not make an ideal first bike. Besides most insurance companies will insist on at least 2 years no claims before they will insure you. If you want a sports bike look at the 600. The R6 is particularly good. You'll still be able to learn your stunts if that's what you really want to do but they will be a bit more forgiving of your ineptitude.

Problem with my Landlord......Has anyone had experience?
Cliify and I rented alot before we eventually gave up and bought. We had no end of problems with the properties that were through agencies. For instance there was the time that we had to pay £90 so theywould "credit check" the property for us, it came back "clear so no need to worry". 6 months later a we came home to find our flat had been cleared out by a baliff!! Ended up having to go to court to prove we weren't who they were after and it took another 6 months to get our stuff back half of which had been damaged! And them there was the "poltergise" stuff would be moved/ missing/ dirty cups in the sink/ our food eaten turned out to be one of the agencies staff having his lunch there! The real bastard was the landlord who needed some money so he set our block of flats on fire to claim on the insurance! That was nasty the whole place was gutted and one of our neighbours was badly hurt. I've had plenty of arguements with agencies about them wanting to check when we weren't there. I never let them get away with it though!
