Ok so I reshod my steed yesterday with some Dunlops (207RR's). My mate rang me at work in the afternoon he'd heard there was a good band playing at a pub we sometimes go to so we made arrangements and of we went for the evening. Band was good had some diet cokes, time to leave. Get into the carpark 5 bikes in a row all with flat back tyres. Some git slashed them. I was NOT impressed and neither was my bloke as he had to bring his tranny van over to pick us up! So today I put on another new back tyre...

I agree with you Alan. Apart from the possible safety issues recalls are a pain in the arse to all concerned. Triumph recently recalled ALL fuel injected bikes made since 1997 because there is a fault with a fuel pipe connector. Apart from the time it takes up in the workshop, there is paperwork that has to be done and Triumph have to track down every single owner, quite a task I should think as I doubt that most of them are with the original owners now. If they had given it a bit more thought at the time maybe they could have saved themselves the time and expense. The ZX10R wheel isn't a design fault but a manufacturing one. When some of them were cast it wasn't done quite right and it's made the wheels to porous that's why they are cracking. There have only been 3 cases world wide but best to be safe than sorry they are gonna change 'em all.

It's true the bikes did sound like they should, but the stunts! I paricularly liked the girls wheely duel :wink:

Actually I like the ZX10 aswell whenever I have to go antwhere for work I make sure I nab our demo!

Has anybody else seen the film Torque? Bloody hell it's no wonder the whole world perceives us as mindless hooligans and as for the so called stunts I pmsl all the way through! If you haven't seen it you really must!
