  1. Hey all, I have a 2002 R6, it has a Scorpion Exhaust on it. Have been wanting to change it for a while but not sure what too. I quite like a hi-level exhaust. I like the style of the newer models R6's that have nothing between the tyre & seat cowling. Thats where I got the idea of having an hi-level exhaust or if it was possible to put a stubby can on it, however have no idea how to hang it, to mke sure its secure. Anyone got any ideas that will help or even better, some pictures that could jog my mind? All help/options welcome guys n gals Chris

    Exhausts?

I have a scorpion end can on my 2002 R6 at the minute, I have been offered a High Level Motad Exhaust, does anyone know what they sound like, if they are any good & is it worth swapping them over? Cheers All
  4. Hey, I saw this picture of a R6, does anyone know where I can get a twin high level exhausts? Are they 2 single high level exhausts or is it a system? Can anyone help? Twin High Level Exhausts
  5. Hey all, I am new to the website, as well as the motorbike scene. Got myself an 2002 R6, I cam off it just before christmas, thankfully I was only, few bruises but nothing major - the bike however needed new headlight unit, front cowling, r/h mid fairing. Manage to get some very cheap & excellent condition eadlights & front cowling the the mid fairing I am stuggling with. Have been weighing up my option, which are as follows: Option 1 - Live with the tatty fairing I have on there at the minute, even tho the rest of the bike is A1 condition. Option 2 - Buy a brand new one from Yamaha, cost me £279.95 + VAT. That will mean it will be perfect again Option 3 - Get one of the Fairing Kits off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-YZF-R6-R-6-bo...1QQcmdZViewItem Option 3 to me is sounding the best so far what do you lot think? Are the fairing kits off ebay decent or they not worth spending my money on? Has anyone got a picture of a 2002 with some race fairings on, like the Go!!!! Black one, Camel or Fiat one. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatfull Chris

    Data Tagging

Hey all. My new bike has a data-Tag on it. Does anyone know where I need to register it at, as the previous said I would have to do it. R6Gale
  7. Hey all, Just pick up my first bike yesterday, Yamaha YZF-R6. Its on a 02 plate with just over 10,000miles on the clock. The bike is in great condition, very clean & tidy. Has been lowered with upgraded adjustable forks, full Yamaha service history & a full tank. I paid £2,650 for it, which I thought was really good, what you think? Just have a few questions really. I am looking for a aftermarket can, any ideas which is a good one, dont want anything too loud, nice rumble tbh. Also, it is an import so the odo is in km/h is there a way I can change it to mph. Heard someone say that you can send it off to get it changed over, is that true? Any help is greatful Cheers
