Thank a lot for the help!!! That makes me feel a ton better that there's nothing wrong with it. I do have one other question...when I start riding from a dead stop it seems like no matter what revs i'm at it goes from whatever I revved it up to all the way down to like 1,000rpm and then back up. I've had lots of experience with motorcycles and this is the first time I've had a bike that does this, so I'm wondering if this is the norm or not. Thanks again for helping a newbie.

I just got a brand spanking new 2007 YZF-R6 three days and yesterday I put about 150 miles on it, and then today I went to ride it and it barely started up. I'm not sure how to explain it because it sounded like it was trying really hard to start and could barely get the engine to rev. I held the throttle open slightly and it did start. I'm wondering if there's a choke switch somewhere that I'm not seeing also. I did press the ignition switch a couple times by accident when I was riding yesterday because for some strange reason I was thinking it's not the horn, so I'm wondering if I screwed up the starter motor. Thanks for your help everyone I really appreciate it!!!
