    XT350 oil leak-remove right engine cover?

    uperjim posted a topic in Yamaha Workshop
    I need help. I spilled my bike-(layed it down on dirt on the left side) and I end up with an oil leak on the right side--maybe unrelated but it appears to be coming out of the gasket between the outside cover and the lower case about 2 inches behind the oil pump area. Question is ---how hard is it to remove the outer cover? Does the tach cable remove easily--looks like the shift cable and kick lever come off quite easy. Any advice would be appreciated. I am hoping that all I need is a new gasket.
