No, it's a used bike with 4k showing on the odo. The looks of the bike support this number. Are there other ways of trouble shooting a crank seal? I've sprayed ether directly into the cylinder (pull the plug, squirt, re-insert plug, kick...) with no success. Thanks for your reply!

I have a 80cc Chappy that I just got. It started and ran for about 2 minutes then quit like someone turned off the key, even though the key is on... It has 120lbs+ of compression, good spark, yet wont so much as "pop", even with ether. I've put in a new plug, a new set of points and condenser. Still, nothing... I've checked the reed valves and they look ok. No visible leaks or damage. What now??? Help! I think I need to go back to school. I thought all you needed to make a motor run was fuel, spark, and some air? I've got compression, a spark, and fuel... It almost seems like it's out of time, but how could that be? I've also checked the key on the crank and it's fine. The Flywheel is indexed correctly. I'm totally baffled!!! Worst case is I'm hoping someone can tell me what the points gap should be... Best case is someone can give me some more advice on what to do next. Thanks in advance!
