I applied the 58L TCI on my 31A bike and it runs flawless! It feels like I should have done this years earlier, but why should you, when it is not broken?
For anyone in doubt to apply a 58L TCI on a 31A: Don’t hesitate!

I have a malfunctioning 31A TCI unit. The only affordable and available TCI is a 58L type. Is there any downside on using that newer TCI? Can it harm? I can't find any differences except this:
