blackhat250 still is a great bike sounds great. Just got it going woohoo. Vacuum pipe from inlet manifold needed connecting to fuel petcock. Felt sorry for the guy who sold it to me coz it would only run for 10 seconds at a time.😄

Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. Just bought an 82' XS 250 not starting so will be asking lots of questions soon. Once I get it running I hope to clean it up and get it into some sort of reasonable shape. My first ever bike was a XS 500 and that was 30 years ago, so just dipping my feet into the water again as regards bikes. Cheers.
