    Thanks for the suggestions. I replaced the tail light and the warning light has gone off some I guess there is my answer

    Hi thanks for the reply, Not really, I have included a photo below. Unlike that link the neutral light is on the tachometer and there is only one indicator light (the top one) that flashes for both indicators.     Yamaha XS750 warning lights?

    I have a custom Yamaha XS750 that has no labels for the warning lights. Currently the middle red one is on (and stays on when engine running) and I have read in a few places that this could mean oil OR brake light issues. I have only seen this in relation to earlier models though, can anyone confirm it is the same for the 1980? Thanks
