    i can sort some pictures out no problem, its been put back together after the frame being powder coated. igniter is fitted, coils wired and starter. not fussed about lights or any other electrics, would just bee good to find out if it runs at this moment in time.

    its an old xj 650, someone started and gave up. powder coated the the frame, refitted engine, wheels etc but failed to wire it up. id like to try wire it basic as possible, just to see if it will fire up then take it from there. wiring was never my best skill lol. it looks like the previous owner has tried and gave up.

    new member from scotland, trying to help a mate out build a project bike he bought not long ago. done abit with cars over the years but never road bikes. i know how helpfull owners forums can be for cars, had a google and found this forum. looks a good un, hopefully i can contribute in time

    my mate picked up an old xj600, has be be around 80's early 90's model. its an unfinished project, frame been power coated, engine put back in but failed to wire it up. there has been some attempt, whats the chances of someone on here being able to advise me on most basic way to wire it, just to see if it really runs.
