  3. Hi all, New to the forum ( Yes i posted an intro forum police ) I was wondering if any of you know if my model 1999 V-Star 650 Customs exhaust is compatible with the newer 2004+ model exhausts or even if it is tweak able (by a half decent mechanic) to fit. My bike needs some TLC aesthetically speaking and i saw these Vance & Hines Shortshots and fell in love!! Let me know what you think Also i am thinking of getting this sort of colour scheme with matte black engine and a more shiny tank and fenders but mostly blacked out. Do you guys think this would look good along with the exhaust above? Would just like to get some opinions so i know it wont look absolutely terrible (I wont be getting the orange and yellow obviously i don't know what that is ) Thanks in advance -Rob
  4. Howdy all, My name is Rob, i'm from Ireland. Bought a Yamaha 1999 V-Star 650 Custom in December. First bike (other than a 6 month stint a few years back on a little Hyosung 125 over in Spain) and its taken me a few months to get properly commuting on it. I'm in a great group on Facebook (Bikers of Éire) with about 1200 really helpful bikers but i though i would join one where its more specific to my own make rather than just the banter of slagging everyone off who doesn't ride the same as you Anyway that just a quick intro. Later! -Rob
