  1. Adventurous lot, those 70's+ - and more power to their elbow! And their Kymcos. I did the NC500 on the Kwacker long before it had that name. What a route! And that's why I want to go back. Still looking for that elusive 'Pensioner, rides YBR'
  2. Cheers blackhat and drewpy - Scotland is next on my to-go list, just haven't found another 7k YBR pilot yet. Other makes are acceptable! Surely 7k is OK on a 10k redline?
  3. Hi there - I like to go for the odd day-ride or a foray into Wales, maybe we can join forces? On good roads I normally cruise at 7k revs. 8k only if I get carried away... What's your style? PS: ignore bestofybr, that ID is now redundant.
  4. Never seen Cavewood locally, but you know what? I love the B6047 to Mowbray. What a treat! Maybe not in the Motorhome, the Pan would do fine.
  5. Hi all - I'm new to this club. I’m riding a YBR since 2012 and like 'making good progress’ within the given limitations. I have a full licence, and have ridden bigger bikes, one of them a Divvy, but have now downsized. I’m a fit 78 (lots of cycling!), not looking for any kind of relationship except company on the road. October 04-14 would seem a good option to avoid the midges. Get in touch soon if you're interested!

Hey Moocher, Those dykes ARE fine to look at, and your Yam IS a beauty. What I meant was: avoid contact!

Lucky guy! But you know those walls and that bike don't go together. Good photo, though!
  8. Hi all, I'm new here - and learning how to use this site, hence a double post, sorry . Look in the Bar, it's about going to Scotland with another 125cc pilot... And yes, I am a grandpa.
  9. Hi all - I'm new to this club. I’m riding a YBR125 since 2012 and like 'making good progress’ within the given limitations. I have a full licence, and have ridden bigger bikes, one of them a Divvy, but have now downsized. I’m a fit 78 (lots of cycling!), male, not looking for any kind of relationship except company on the road. May 15-25 or October 04-14 would seem good options to avoid the midges. Interested?
