Hi Guys, Im Kyle, live in Newcastle and bought my first bike last year a 2007 yamaha YBR 125. I love this bike and its been really reliable so far. the bike had been neglected after a friend had a accident ( not bike related ) and was unable to ride it for sometime so it had just been sitting outside. we live by the coast and i guess the salt air had been eating away at it. i pretty much stripped the bike down and sanded all the rust off, primed and sprayed the frame, wheels and forks and it looks great. Problem i had was with the exhaust. i did sand this back as much as possible filled a small hole and then sprayed with exhaust paint. All was fine but the repair as expected didn't last long. Now for the problem, i bought an after market exhaust however it does not have the pipe coming from it that attached to the air box like the original did. i have been told that you dont need it and you can blank this off at the air box? how would you do this? any help would be great.
