Is it possible..........
Oh well that'll be that, I suppose I could allways still and sell or put a 1k engine in it. I know there's a link somewhere here about Denis (I think) someone or other. I just trying to think what I'll do if it doesn't sell thats all, I thought I wouldn't have had to much trouble selling a bike like that.

I'll give it a month..........
I spoke to Steve in Ride on, and said to him about it, he reckons putting it back to standard eg lowering the seat, raising the forks, oh! and putting the proper fork oil in it. Cause I met a guy one, who used to own it and he said he'd put heavier oil in them. So I suppose really with all the above said it would be realitively comfy in standard trim. Cause after all, when doing things like that, your messing about the factory frame geometry.

Iv'e had about 25 bikes since I started in 1980 all sorts, mostly road bikes mind you, but totaly diffirent kinds. One of my last ventures was a road registered CR500   fekin' great!!. But the vibes fekin ell' , but after all it's not built for the road.

Thing is, if the bike doesn't sell I'll have no choice but to keep/use it, simple.

Yea I know I know, I sat on one in Ride on the other week and seemed pretty much ok. But it's when you ride it thats the problem, I just these sports bikes, but y'see my back end's been jacked up, so it's no wonder really I'm sliding into the tank. Plus the forks have dropped about 1cm in the yokes, but if I do keep it, I'll pull the forks back up, and get the seat lowered. I really have to a pic of this thing and send it in, and let you all see it.

Then I'll keep the bike and put it back to "standard", I really like another FJ120 though, but I'll just have to see how things go. I had planned for the new 04 R1, but not right now, and to quite frank I dont know if I could handle one either.

Dont get me wrong Yamhead, Iv'e only been drivin' cars for 7 years the rest are on bike's. Iv'e had my fair share of getn soaked and still do, if I'm out and get cought out, I aggree it makes you a better rider. What I'm sayin' is, for me (and quite alot of others too, and maybe you too) the bike and car are sittin' beside each other in the drive. Now if it's pourin' you look outside and say "will I take the car or the bike". You'd be stupid to take the bike, unless of course the cars not goin', buts this is just my opinion.

Biking in Britain Today - Discuss
I'm something the same as you, Iv'e been riding since the 80', I'm 40 with my YZF750, so called race rep! Yes we are veiwed on as bit odd because (as you say) "society" says that once you reach a ceratin age you should have the "nice car", and "grow up". Well fuck them and their "nice cars" "trimmed lawns" "Ikea everythings the same". Thats like my neighbor the other day I was goin' out (on the bike), she says "oh my oldest boy wants a bike, but I told him get a "nice car" there much safer and better than these bike's. I really had to bite my tongue, cause I dont really know them that well, I just kinda laughed, yea yea! We all know what these "born again's" are like too, these are the one's who are causing most of the problem (I think). People like me, XT ect ect have been ridin' for years, and just because you have a "race rep" doesn't mean your a "nob head". Sure everyone can go bloody quick and sometime's does, and I for one wont sit in traffic if theres a gap, no way!. Thats what bikes are made for isn't it!!, to cut through all these tin boxs, it really makes my blood boil when these aresholes think they know it all and know fuck all. They probably haven't even been on a fuckin' bike  Btw, I'm still looking for the FJ12. Hey!, I'll tell you all this (if you dont allready aggree/know), get all those wankers in the "nice cars" "tin fuckin' boxs" on a bike just for one day one fuckin' day!!!!, then lets see them. I just wonder how many would/will think think "fuck me, this is great, thrilling. dangerous ect ect ect". But most of all, they might just might! think before they use their "get out of jail free card", "oh, sorry mate I didn't see you!!!!!!!!!!!"   Mate!, your no fuckin' mate of mine!!!!!!!

wet riding
The thing is when you have a car, you tend not ride in the wet!, well I dont. What the point of diliberately going out to get soaked!, it's diffirent if your allready out and starts raining (well in the UK anyway), then you have to "adjust" your riding techniqe there n then, plus get soaked.
