  1. https://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?fr=mcafee&type=C211GB0D20150124&p=yamaha+dx250 It looks like it is called a dx250 in Japan, and that colour variant is Japanese.
  2. Cheers for that, i need to get a lot of dirt and tarnishing off before i can see them clearly. Thanks. It hasn't been taxed since 77 by the look of the tax disc holder.
  3. Hi, i have no idea what the numbers are! as i haven't found them at this stage. I don't have no security worries or whatever, i just want to know what model it is. cheers. Another pic.
  4. This is the bike. cheers.
  5. Thanks for the reply. It's definitely not a ds6, the tank is different. I would like to post a picture of it but can't reduce the file size to fit on here.
  6. Hi guys, i have just found a few old bikes in a abandoned garage includind a couple of old Yamahas. There is a gold and white 1970 plate Yam 250, which i thought was a yds7. But having looked on the net, it seems that they were gold and black in colour. Is it also the case that the yds7 wasn't made till 71 and for only one year. I as thinking it could be a dx250 as they came in gold and white, but info on them is very hard to find. Any help would be very appreciated. ps can't reduce picture file size to post here.
