So, got myself an '83 TR1 that i wanted to bring up to date and turn into a bit of a street tracker look First job was to offer up the new front end I will be using - a 2004 GSXR750. Replacement bearings is all that will be needed (apart from maybe reducing the height of the head locking nuts) Image resized to : 52 % of its original size [ 960 x 720 ] Then the strip down started. Electrics aside, which were a mess, there were no hidden nightmares Image resized to : 48 % of its original size [ 1024 x 1365 ] Image resized to : 52 % of its original size [ 960 x 960 ] Image resized to : 52 % of its original size [ 960 x 720 ] Over the next few days I'll be cutting the frame down and adding bracing where needed. Then unfortunately there will be a bit of delay as I am due in for a Hernia Operation (getting old sucks) on the 1st Dec I'll keep this topic updated as and when

If you know the length and diameter of it I'd be heading to a rubber supplier. Just make sure you tell them it must be petrol resistant
