I have just recently bought my first road bike. I bought a Yamaha tzr 50. It has been working fine in my garden for last 2 weeks. I went up yesterday and started it, I left it going while I went to get something. I came back and it wasn't running. I tried restarting and nothing, I cleaned the spark plug then it started fine, I left it for another 5 mins to warm up while next to it. I tried to rev it and it just cut out. Then wouldn't start. I cleaned the sparkpug, it started fine left for 5 mins tried to rev and it cut out again. I have no idea what to do, any help is appreciated. The only thing I can think of is that the previous owner used the super unleaded petrol and I have been using normal petrol.
  2. Usually you just get at it from the back of the light, most of the time fairing does not need to be removed. Have a good look and a fiddle with the back of the light under the dash.

  4. Just a bit about myself. I am only 16 years of age and have only recently got my first bike. I have had experience riding bikes in the past on my trial ty80, that I will be selling soon as I have grown out of it. I attent full time education in London and am currently studying A levels, in ict English media and physics.

I have bought a tzr50, that has engine and carb upgrades. It's top speed is around 60. This is a problem as I am only 16, meaning I need to reduce its top speed. I was hoping to do this by just adding a larger rear sprocket on the bike, but it seems I am unable to find any online. If anyone knows any other ways to reduce the top speed cheaply or any links to a 52ish tooth rear sprocket.
